WitW - Session 52
The party did a little more shopping before meeting the halfling and stocked up on potions and glue. The halfling they met revealed herself as Reevo Barefoot, older sister to Bepo. Jeatz showed off the power of the powder, and in doing so, remembered fleeing Marshven with his mother—but perhaps more importantly, all the events in Burakrin, including Bepo.
The Eclipse were hiding an airship that was almost ready to fly. Mae, Jeatz's cousin, reappeared, acting coldly toward the newcomers. She did agree, however, to let them tag along to the Astral Plane to retrieve an Arcane Reprojector—one of two pieces needed to get the airship sky-worthy.
The second piece would be traveling just outside their warehouse on a heavily armored caravan in the form of a crystalline ancient dragon heart. The plan was a smash-and-grab the next morning, where the Eclipse would immediately flee the city on the airship.
Before they left, the party shared two doses of the memory-restoring powder each with Reevo (to aid in deprogramming) and Hank, the ex-Solarian who was working on a new weapon to combat the memory magic.
Hank also aided the party in purchasing two small powder kegs from across the street.
Mae Plane Shifted the party to a remote rock on the Astral Plane. The party sheepishly approached the cabin, with Jeatz disguised as Esith—the Githyanki from Widdershins long ago. This displeased Orozag greatly, and Jeatz paid a hefty price with a strong slash of his greatsword. Thankfully, Horace—with Mae's help and a Chronal Shift—was able to calm the situation, indicating they would help get them off the rock they were stranded on.
